Black market in Helsinki …?
One day, while Edwin was sitting in a café, feeling dejected and defeated, he struck up a conversation with an elderly Finnish man who was sitting at the next table. The man asked Edwin what was troubling him, and Edwin explained his story. The man listened sympathetically and then suggested that Edwin try a local market where stolen goods were sometimes sold.
Edwin was skeptical, but he was also desperate. He decided to follow the man’s advice and visit the market. Edwin couldn’t believe his luck. He approached the vendor and demanded to know where he had obtained the stolen goods. The vendor claimed that he had bought them from someone who had found them abandoned at the airport. The voice offered to return the diamonds to Edwin, but only if he agreed to work for the syndicate and use his connections in Jordan to help them with their criminal activities. Edwin was terrified but knew that he had no choice. He agreed to the terms, and the voice instructed him to meet a contact at a local café the next day to receive the diamonds.
